Jonathan Alexander

Vice President of Compliance and General Counsel

Jonathan Alexander is Pinnacle’s Vice President of Compliance and General Counsel. Mr. Alexander has over 14 years of experience advising self-insured employers and insurance professionals about the laws and regulations that apply to group health plans, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Internal Revenue Code. Mr. Alexander oversees Pinnacle’s legal department, which includes three divisions: appeals and disputes, subrogation, and compliance. Mr. Alexander received his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law. Following law school, Mr. Alexander clerked for a Circuit Court Judge in Hawaii, then worked in the California office of a business litigation law firm prior to joining Pinnacle. Mr. Alexander is an active member of the California bar.
